Curriculum Vitae

Professor Richards-Shubik joined the Department of Economics in 2015, after five years at Carnegie Mellon’s H. John Heinz III College. Originally from the Syracuse, NY area, Professor Richards-Shubik obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. His current research focuses on the estimation of network models in health care and other applications, as well as the study of health inequality. Professor Richards-Shubik is currently Director of the M.S. Program in Applied Economics. He will be on sabbatical in 2022-23.
