Jee-Hun Choi is an assistant professor in the Economics Department at Lehigh University. As a health economist, he is broadly interested in the interaction between U.S. healthcare's private and public sectors and how healthcare policies for public health insurance programs, such as Medicaid and Medicare, impact key stakeholders—consumers, insurers, medical providers, and the government. His current research analyzes disparities in healthcare utilization between Medicaid beneficiaries and privately insured populations, investigating the underlying causes.
