Andrea Ndubizu’s research focuses on developing artificial intelligence-based systems to strengthen cybersecurity across critical and emerging technologies, including Internet of Things devices (IoT), semiconductors, and quantum computing. Her work examines how open-source data, deep learning, and large language models can be used to address cybersecurity challenges in IoT devices, prioritize vulnerabilities in semiconductor and quantum code, and support automated vulnerability remediation in semiconductor operational technology systems. Motivated by the growing security risks facing global supply chains and digital infrastructure, her research provides tools that can help regulators, manufacturers, policymakers, and security analysts identify, explain, and mitigate vulnerabilities before they create broader technological and societal harm.
