Regarding teaching, Professor Erez says, "Over my twenty years as a college educator, I have had the privilege of teaching economics and statistics courses to both graduate and undergraduate students. Very early in my career, I discovered that teaching college students is more than a job for me – it is a form of art and a personal life mission. Hence, I make sure to bring an enthusiastic and a caring teaching style to every class, every semester. Over the years I have developed, improved, and refined my teaching philosophy, which is centered around three core principles: Critical and creative thinking, self-belief, and class engagement."
His research and teaching interests include behavioral economics and decision theory.
