Curriculum Vitae

Professor Barnhart’s research examines the judgment and decision making process of auditors and investors. He applies the JDM methodology to investigate what makes auditors effective at their jobs and how to improve their performance. Additionally, he is interested in studying how non-professional investors use and rely on accounting information to make their investment choices.
