Originally from Costa Rica, Fabio has been an assistant professor at Lehigh University since 2021. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics from Indiana University in 2021. His research focuses on time series, in particular, the use of non-stationarities to identify the effects of monetary and fiscal policy on the economy.
