Chitra Nayar is a teaching associate professor in the DATA Department and teaches about information systems at both the undergraduate (Introduction to Information Systems) and graduate level (Management Information Systems).
She has an undergraduate degree in chemistry and biochemistry from Aston University in the UK, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa. In addition to her formal education, she also has a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University's Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.
Before joining Lehigh University, Chitra’s professional experience included work in consulting, as a senior analyst at the Federal Reserve, and as a data manager. She was also a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma and taught in the Management Information Systems program.
