The MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) program is designed to prepare students with cutting-edge knowledge and skill sets that will enable them to be competitive in the rapidly growing field of business analytics. The full-time curriculum features three components that ensure students understand theory in depth and develop practical skill sets: fundamental disciplinary knowledge, technical skills, and professional skills.
Rapid advancement in information technology has created a data rich environment for organizations in all sectors. How to collect appropriate data, how to evaluate data collection methods and sources, and how to use the data to gain business insights and improve decision making have been challenging to managers.
The curriculum of the MSBA is intended for career opportunities in a multitude of industries and a variety of role types such as business/data analyst, marketing research analyst, and supply chain analyst. Some of the top industries currently hiring analysts include public administration, healthcare, finance, and insurance.
Lehigh's campus lies in Eastern, PA, just 60 minutes from Philadelphia and only 90 minutes from New York City. Just a short walk off campus, the southside of Bethlehem offers a variety of restaurants and night life for students to enjoy. The city is also budding with plenty of opportunities to engage with the local community. With renowned music festivals, historical sites, and plenty of outdoor recreation, Bethlehem is a safe and exciting city for students to spend their graduate studies.
