Forest Harger describes herself as a generalist who wants to understand a little about everything. She says working on an MBA has helped her develop a knowledge base that allows her to be successful in doing just that. According to Harger, learning makes her a better and more valuable employee, but it also helps to round out her thinking process that makes work more fulfilling.

Lucas Rich was not only an accounting and finance major, he was also named captain of Lehigh’s varsity baseball team in his senior year. He says learning to build his communication skills was the most important lesson during his time at Lehigh, along with taking advantage of as many networking opportunities as he possibly could. His favorite class was Accounting 307: Introduction to Federal Income Tax.

Keila Seeley shares that at Lehigh she learned to embrace failure as a catalyst for growth. From missteps in homework to faltering in an interview response, each setback served as a pivotal learning opportunity. The finance major, with a minor in international relations, regrets not taking more language courses after completing a semester of Japanese. She also says she hopes to own an ice cream shop one day.
