This past summer, Lehigh University’s Iacocca Institute hosted 25 of Africa’s brightest emerging business leaders as part of the 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, an initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
Amoo Ridwanullahi Olasunkanmi (pictured) was assigned to the Leadership in Business track at Lehigh Business. A mental health advocate, he is the founder of HEvolve, a technology-driven mental health organization created out of his own personal experiences and struggles with mental health challenges.
“The knowledge and skills I’m taking back home, as a result of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, will be instrumental in helping HEvolve continue to grow and better fulfill our mission,” he says. “This has been a transformative experience.”
