As part of Lehigh Business, there are a number of opportunities for the SBDC and students to learn and grow from each other. Below is a sample of our experiential learning opportunities. Because we are dependent on grant funding, these opportunities are subject to availability of funds.
For questions about any of our opportunities, email us at email@example.com or call us at (610) 758-3980.
Lehigh professors often use SBDC client businesses for real-world case studies and research projects. Our clients know the level of work Lehigh students can deliver, and incorporate those recommendations into their business strategies.
Students who have work study as part of their financial aid package can consider the SBDC as an opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to helping small businesses in the Lehigh Valley. Each year we have a number of positions available that range from clerical to research. All available opportunities can be found on Handshake. Sample positions include:
Answer phones, take messages, make copies, scan client documents to be uploaded, clerical duties as assigned.
Design seminar and marketing flyers for Small Business Development Center and for clients (local businesses). Write stories for newsletter, including, but no limited to successes of SBDC clients. Compile information and articles into newsletters.

Research Analyst II
