Mission
The Center for Supply Chain Research at Lehigh (CSCRL) bridges theory and practice to promote a collaborative exchange of ideas on critical issues affecting supply chain management. By leveraging Lehigh’s faculty, students, alumni and industry partners, the Center brings the latest developments in research and best practices together to generate new ideas for education and future knowledge in the field of supply chain management.
The CSCRL:
- Provides member companies with customized research projects, educational activities, and recruiting opportunities.
- Provides affiliated faculty members with a forum for forging interdisciplinary collaborations, gaining exposure to industry problems, and presenting research findings to other academics and practitioners.
- Trains undergraduate and graduate students through research projects and educational activities, and provides them with opportunities to meet potential employers.
- Disseminates cutting-edge research and best practices to the supply chain profession as a whole through symposiums, benchmarking studies, seminars, roundtables, and other educational programs, as well as through newsletters, white papers, and other publications.

Fall Career Fair
Provides an opportunity for career minded supply chain students to meet with industry representatives before the College of Business Career Fair. -
Fall Forum
The fall forum will focus on more breakout sessions and workshops from both academics and practitioners in Supply Chain Management. -
Spring Career Fair
Provides an opportunity for career minded supply chain students to meet with industry representatives before the College of Business Career Fair. -
Spring Symposium
This spring symposium will focus on Omni Channel Retailing and its impact on Supply Chains.
Quarterly Council Meetings
Members of the CSCRL council come together to discuss the latest issues they are dealing with in their companies to provide a forum to learn from each other, identify important trends and capitalize on new solutions.

Advisory Council
Form an advisory council with industry partners and alumni whose roles may include:
- Identifying topics and sponsors for the two conferences
- Expanding the network of participants
- Help build a mailing list
- Find ways to prominently recognize the council at events and on the website
- Utilize the Advisory Council’s expertise to think strategically about the mission and direction of the center
- Serve as a resource for members of the Advisory Council in continuing education, topical events and networking
