A Community Fellowship in Management
The Community Fellows Program is designed to support partnerships between Lehigh University and local public and non-profit entities that are active in community and economic development. A Community Fellowship in Management is ideal for students who are interested in rigorous academic training in the theoretical practice of business management combined with meaningful, community-based work experience.
Community Fellows work up to 15 hours per week at a participating agency, gaining hands-on experience in community and economic development, local politics and policy, social services, or public health, while taking classes toward a graduate degree in Management.
The MS in Management program is a lockstep, cohort-based degree with a prescribed course of study. You will complete the combined program coursework full-time over four semesters. The MS in Management program includes a mandatory one-week orientation. A strong focus on professional development and career preparation is emphasized throughout the program.
Fellows receive academic credit for their agency work, making it possible for them to earn their master’s degree in less than 18 months.
Credit and tuition structure will be determined by June 2023.
If you would like to be considered for a Community Fellowship in Management, please include a letter indicating your interest with your application.
Initial planning for the Community Fellows Program was made possible through funding from the Pennsylvania Campus Compact (PACC) and the Corporation for National Service.
