We have potential funding options available for students in our MS in Financial Engineering Program

The MS in Financial Engineering Degree is an important investment towards your future. All scholarship awards are merit based. However, Lehigh University does make several resources available to you in order to make it more manageable. Domestic students can learn more about funding their graduate education. International students can learn more about the financial guarantee requirements under Tuition & Expenses. Funding options for international students may be available from outside resources.

Generous scholarship awards are available and based on the strength of the application to the program. Several graduate assistant positions are available through university administrative offices which provide stipends to a maximum of $9,000 per academic year, plus benefits 

 

Dean's Scholars

The Dean's Scholarship is based on the strength of your application package. This scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship.

 

Director's Scholars

The Director's Scholarship is a merit based, partial tuition scholarship. Awards range from $5,000 to full-tuition scholarships.

 

Lehigh Graduate Merit Scholarship

As a soon-to-be Lehigh alumnus, you may be eligible for a new Graduate Merit Scholarship that was established in 2023. This scholarship is awarded annually to a single, high-achieving student in the College of Business. It covers a year of free tuition, including one summer, two regular academic–year terms, and a winter term (if enrolled). Study abroad programs, including Lehigh Abroad programs, are not included.

Each year the College of Business nominates a student for the award. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be accepted into a graduate program at Lehigh, and have a 3.75 GPA at the time of the program application. 

Only early applicants will be considered for this scholarship. Students must receive an offer of admission by 2/12 (for fall start) or 10/13 (for spring start) to be eligible.

 

Yellow Ribbon Program

Lehigh University pays the remaining tuition that Post-9/11 GI Bill does not cover. Funding is available for all eligible students for graduate programs. Please visit Lehigh's Yellow Ribbon Program website for more information on eligibility, veterans education benefits, and more.

 

Executive Algorithmic Trading Scholarship

Subject to applicable Lehigh policies, Lehigh shall award a $12,000 scholarship to graduates of QuantInsti's Executive Program in Algorithmic Trading (EPAT); provided that such students have been admitted to Lehigh University's MS in Financial Engineering program in accordance with Lehigh's standard procedures and in Lehigh's sole and absolute discretion.

To be eligible, all students must provide certificate of completion within 48 hours of submitting your application. Please email your certificate of completion to business@lehigh.edu and it will be included in your application.  

 

Quantitative Learning Tracks Scholarship

Subject to applicable Lehigh policies, Lehigh shall award a $2,500 scholarship to graduates of one of QuantInsti's Quantra Learning Tracks; provided that such students have been admitted to Lehigh University's MS in Financial Engineering program in accordance with Lehigh's standard procedures and in Lehigh's sole and absolute discretion.

To be eligible, all students must provide certificate of completion within 48 hours of submitting your application. Please email your certificate of completion to business@lehigh.edu and it will be included in your application.  

 

Financial Aid

Deciding to go back to school is a big decision, but figuring out how to pay for it doesn't have to be.
