This past summer Lehigh Business Startup Academy turned six years old.
Startup Academy is a 10-week summer experiential learning opportunity during which students travel to the San Francisco Bay Area, are paired with startup companies in the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center Mile Makers Program and learn hands-on what it is to be an entrepreneur.
“We believe that entrepreneurship is a pathway to success for all students, regardless of background, discipline or career path,” says Samantha Dewalt, managing director of Lehigh@NasdaqCenter, “and we’ve had a blast doing this work in partnership with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.”
“This partnership has always been about making action happen in a very short, succinct and incredible way, so students and founders move forward in building their businesses and careers,” says Nicola Corzine, executive director of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.
