Behavioral Research Lab

About

The Behavioral Research Lab is a data-collection hub for Lehigh University’s College of Business faculty members who are committed to answering important questions about how people behave, think, collaborate and make decisions. The dedicated space is home to a 24-person individual experiment room, a group experiment room and three smaller breakout rooms. It also has a fully equipped kitchen that can be used for experimental research.

Lab Goals

Scientific Excellence

Our primary purpose is the production and publication of high quality and groundbreaking scientific research. To this end, we are all responsible for maintaining the highest standards of scientific and ethical integrity, and for pursuing research questions that represent a significant contribution to the social and behavioral sciences.

Educational Excellence

Achieving scientific excellence supports the training of graduate and undergraduate students. Our goal is to help students develop skills and expertise in scientific research, in preparation for success in business, government and industry positions. These skills and experiences will also help students with competitive placement in graduate school or in high-level academic positions (as faculty members, post-docs or graduate students).

Intellectual Excellence

Participation in the Behavioral Research Lab, as participants or researchers, creates opportunities for rich, diverse intellectual experiences, discussion and collaboration. We are dedicated to providing an interdisciplinary, dynamic hub for scientific research and discourse for the betterment of Lehigh and broader community.
