About the Program

The Lehigh MS in Management program is a full-time, cohort program designed for students with a non-business undergraduate degree and less than one year professional work experience. It paves the path from college to career by building a business skill toolbox that helps you define your career goals, sharpen your business acumen, and receive the experiential learning that sets you apart. The MS in Management provides the perfect launch pad for a positive and rewarding career trajectory.

Course work focuses on the core areas of business management such as accounting, finance, statistics, management, economics and marketing. Graduate faculty use lecture, case studies and classroom discussion, with the program culminating in a capstone course that ties together all the learning and concepts with a hands-on business simulation.

Experiences inside and outside the classroom make you a more valuable asset to a broad range of organizations and roles. A comprehensive one week orientation defined by exposure to professional development and business leaders provide context for the program.

Eligibility 

Applicants with a non-business undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university are eligible for admission. Business minors may also apply. International applicants with a business undergraduate degree may be considered for admission and are welcome to apply. No more than one year of full-time work experience.

Degree Completion in 9 or 16 Months

The program can be completed in 9 or 16 months depending on your chosen track.

The standard track offers the fastest path to degree completion, and the extended track is ideal for students who feel they need more time to focus on graduate school and chart their future career path, or for students wishing to pursue an internship.

STEM-Designated Degree

The MS in Management program contains an interdisciplinary curriculum that includes STEM fields, which qualifies the program as a STEM-designated degree. All international students on an F1 visa are eligible for 12 months of post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT). Additionally, students in STEM-designated fields, as recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, may be eligible for a 24-month OPT extension, if their employment meets specific criteria and they apply within the final 90 days of their post-completion OPT period.

Executive Presence and Professional Development

Central to this program is an intentional and continual focus on personal and professional development. Beginning with an intensive array of professional development programs and job search workshops during orientation, our career services team continues to build these opportunities throughout the program with on-site Career Trek visits to East Coast business centers such as New York and Philadelphia, as well as participating in highly visible small-business consulting projects through Pennsylvania’s number one Small Business Development Center.
