B.S. Major in Economics (CAS)

Economics

The B.S. major in economics is for students who desire a more robust and technical degree program. Students in the College of Business who major in economics earn a B.S. in Business & Economics. The College of Business B.S. degree requires students to take a large core of business courses, whereas the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) B.S. degree will require students to take math, computer science, and econometrics, as well as more economics, to better prepare them for technical graduate work or technical careers. The requirements are:
