Tom Hensler, 1-MBA Executive Advisor

Tom has over 35 years of management consulting experience: 20 Years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was a Partner from 1994 through 2002; and over 15 years at Inflective, a consulting firm he founded in 2003 and where he currently serves as President. 

Tom focuses on leading complex organizations through major business transformations including implementation of ERP solutions; particularly Oracle or SAP based. 

At Inflective, Tom has led significant (up to 850 staff) transformation programs (including SAP and Oracle) for key clients including York Risk Services, Juniper Networks, Aerojet-Rocketdyne, Inc., Sun Microsystems, CooperVision, Polycom and Kaiser Permanente. Through Inflective, Tom developed a proprietary method and supporting software apps to improve transformation program outcomes, predictability, transparency and speed. 

At PwC, Tom led several large, complex transformation programs (including SAP based) for key clients including Dacom Corporation, AT&T/Lucent Technologies, AIG, Continental Medical Systems and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Tom led numerous high caliber project teams at key PwC clients which included Delta Airlines, Worldspan, CSX Railroad, AIG, Federated Department Stores, NY Department of Tax and Finance, State of Alaska, Numerous Mutual Funds, State Street Bank. New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles, Sterling Drugs, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Morgan Bank. Tom has served in multiple regional, national, and global leadership positions within PwC including Global SAP Markets/Portals leader and Advanced Software Engineering leader. 

While living in Seoul, South Korea with his family for 3 years, Tom operated as President and Chief Operating Officer of Dacom System Technology, a Korean based joint venture between PwC and Dacom Corporation where he grew top-line revenue by 30% and turned the company to profitability. 

Tom holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA; both from Lehigh and was a member of the varsity wrestling team and a graduate assistant wrestling coach. Tom served on the Lehigh Global Council from 1998 through 2008. In his spare time, Tom enjoys aviation and holds a multi-engine, commercial instrument rating with land, seaplane and helicopter privileges.
