Donald Bowen III

Professor Bowen joined the Perella Department of Finance at Lehigh University in 2019. His research examines the interplay between technology and firms, and builds on my expertise using NLP, LLMs, and coding to build new datasets that can answer timely questions regarding corporate investment, innovation, patent markets, venture capital, and IPOs.

Professor Bowen’s research has been published in Management Science and Review of Science and presented broadly, including the Western Finance Association, NBER, UBC Winter Finance, Finance Research Association (FRA), and Midwestern Finance Association.
