Class Topic: The Fundamentals of Financial Statement Analysis
Note: Information Session to follow.
Public and private companies provide critical information about their business through their financial statements. Being able to understand and interpret the information provided in a company's financial statements is a useful skill for any business professional. While interpreting financial information is critical for investors and lenders, review of financial statements will also provide useful information about an organization’s suppliers, customers, and competitors.
Join Professor Tom Rees on Monday, November 18 for a special mini-class, designed to provide attendees with an understanding of the form, content, and relationships among a Company’s financial statements - along with learning skillful techniques to quickly analyze and interpret the information disclosed. Areas of focus will include ratio analysis and analytic adjustments, review of the notes and disclosures supporting the financial statements, and identification of areas subject to manipulation or distortion. Professor Thomas Rees will incorporate examples of recently issued financial statements from well-known companies in the class discussion.
Learn the techniques used by both financial professionals and managers across industries to quickly and effectively analyze, interpret and act on the information found in financial statements.
Admission is FREE! Register here.
