Program Overview:

In an environment of ever-increasing competition and customer expectations, the need for improved organizational performance has never been greater. Instead of applying an intuitive approach to streamlining and enhancing existing processes, Lean Six Sigma principles provide a powerful structured, quantitative method to optimize performance by eliminating waste, improving revenue and providing greater customer satisfaction. This program combines the quantitative analysis of Lean Six Sigma with Kaizen, continuous improvement, and standardization.

Using a blend of lecture, individual and small group work, and a role-playing simulation, you will learn how to successfully define improvement projects, analyze work flows, identify improvement opportunities, improve process flows, and control process-quality levels, while increasing responsiveness and reducing inventories. You will leave this hands-on program ready to apply Lean Six Sigma principles in your organization.

Impact & Benefits:

  • Develop an understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts and how to apply them in your organization
  • Learn a systematic approach for increasing profits, decreasing costs, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and boosting customer satisfaction
  • Gain practical experience with quality management practices including lean purchasing, operations, transportation, distribution, and design
  • Collect and develop value-adding insights from quantitative data
